AMA SCHOOL OF GRADUATE STUDIES
In the School of Graduate Studies, Quezon City Campus, the following Masteral Programs are offered:
Specifically, the MSCS shall:
- Develop in the students an understanding of the role and responsibilities of computer professionals in the Information Age;
- Develop the students’ attitudes, technical skills and commitment necessary in the business community;
- Provide students with the theoretical and practical training of the needs of an information society;
- Strengthen the analytic skills of students for problem solving and decision making;
- Develop in the students an interest in research in computer technology;
- Provide the students with the necessary technical and practical skills in the area of computer technology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The MS in Computer Science Program is open to all degree holders in Computer Science or its equivalent, from any reputable/ accredited local and foreign school and have satisfactorily passed the AMACU SGS admission requirements for graduate study. All applicants must have a thorough knowledge of the advanced aspects of PASCAL and Assembly Language for fourth generation computers. Applicants must be proficient in both oral and written English.
Specifically, the MBA Program shall:
- Develop among the students an understanding of the role and responsibilities of business and society;
- Develop the students’ attitudes, technical skills and commitment necessary in the business world;
- Provide the students with the theoretical and practical training of the entire business functions and their interrelationships;
- Strengthen the analytic skills of students for problem solving and decision making;
- Develop in the students an interest in research in business and management; and
- Develop in the students an understanding of the role of the computer technology as a strategic business;
QUALIFICATIONS
The AMACU – SGS MBA Program is open to holders of Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in the field of business or management from any reputable local or foreign school, and have satisfactorily passed the AMACC – SGS admission for Graduate school study.
Applicants who are non-business graduates are required to take at least 12 units of basic management/business courses ( Business Statistics, Accounting, Management and Marketing) specified by the Registrar and the Dean of the Graduate School. These basic courses shall not be given credits towards the Masters Degree.
All applicants are required to be computer literate and must be proficient in both oral and written English.
Specifically, the MACOED Program shall:
- Develop in the students an understanding of the role and responsibilities of computer professionals in the Information Age;
- Develop the students attitude, technical skills and commitment necessary in the academe;
- Provide the students with the necessary theoretical and philosophical foundations in education;
- Provide the students with the theoretical and practical training of the needs of an Information Society;
- Strengthen the analytical skills of students for problem solving and decision- making;
- Develop in the students an interest in research in computer technology; and
- Provide the students with the necessary technical and practical skills in the area of computer technology.
QUALIFICATIONS
The MA in Computer Education Program is open to holders of Bachelors Degree in Education, Business with major in Computer or Computer Science from any reputable local or foreign school and have satisfactorily passed the AMACC admission requirements for Graduate Study.
All applicants are required to be Computer Literate, with at least six (6) units of computer subjects or its equivalent (i.e., certificates of computer training) and be proficient in both oral and written English.
