The act of charity in the world of AMA is an empowering one. Firmly believing in the individual's capacity to help himself and contribute productively to the society he lives in, AMA Foundation Inc. has found numerous ways and means by which to give young Filipino citizens the opportunity to live fuller, more meaningful lives. Premiere among these is SCHOLARSHIP. Since its inception in 1985, AMA Foundation has granted more than 10,000 scholarships to economically-challenged yet academically deserving students nationwide.

Recently, AMA Foundation has earmarked a total of Four Hundred Million Pesos (P400,000,000.00) in funds expressly in support of scholarship and other charitable works for the next few years. This includes a secondary major thrust in donating computer units and the necessary training for their use among local government units, NGO's and socio-civic organizations.

Of course, AMA has always been one with the Filipino people and will share willingly in appropriate acts of charity during catastrophes, calamities and hard times. And so AMA Foundation has always found itself in the thick of events as they unfold among our people, ever-supportive, sympathetic and willing to extend a helping hand.
